For this project we created an app that connects to a wearable device with a sensor that records a user's blood alcohol content. A key feature of this product is to allow users to designate friends and family they feel comfortable sharing their BAC with. This allows for the app to notify (and send the user's location) to the designated contact when the user's BAC% exceeds safe limits. Friends and family will receive a text saying 'Joanne's BAC is 0.2% and this is her location. Help her get home safely.'  Another purpose of this app is to provide education and guidance for people who want to monitor their own BAC%. A private historical record lets users see their % ranges and identify patterns and trends in their drinking events. The app integrates smoothly with a preferred ride share app for safe travel.
